  • The Cleveland Cavaliers (-6.5) are favoured to win Game 5.

The Indiana Pacers are one game away from getting to the Eastern Conference finals for a second consecutive season, as they blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-109 in Game 4.

Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 21 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Darius Garland had 21 points and six assists for the Cavaliers.

With the series shifting back to Cleveland, can the Cavs stay alive? Let’s take a look at my best online sportsbook bets heading into Game 5.

Pacers vs. Cavaliers Predictions & Best Bets for Game 5

The NBA spreads favour the Cavs despite Donovan Mitchell’s uncertain status for Game 5, as he left Game 4 due to a sprained ankle.

Mitchell was cooking in the first three games of the series, averaging a whopping 41.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, six assists, and two steals in those games.

Myles Turner and Obi Toppin scored 20 points apiece to help give Indiana a well-balanced attack in the Game 4 win.

The Cavs could very well win this game without Mitchell, as they’ll be at home and earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference for a reason.

However, Mitchell’s uncertain status gives me pause, so I’m going to back the Pacers to at least cover the +6.5 spread since the Cavs have struggled to consistently get offence from anyone outside of Mitchell in this series.
