What’s the Most Wins in a Single Season in NBA History?

The most wins in a single season in NBA history is 73, a feat the Golden State Warriors accomplished when they went 73-9 during the 2015-16 season.

That group is also atop the list of the best season starts in NBA history.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson provided plenty of 3-pointers, while Draymond Green embraced his role as the glue guy on both ends of the floor.

The Warriors earned their record 73rd win in a 125-104 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on the last day of the season, as Curry exploded for 46 points on 15-of-24 shooting while draining 10 triples.  

How Many NBA Teams Have Won 70 Games in a Season?

Two NBA teams have won 70 games in a season.

The Chicago Bulls were the first team to win north of 70 games, finishing with a 72-10 record during the 1995-96 season.

This was Michael Jordan’s first full season coming out of a short retirement to pursue professional baseball.

The Bulls finished the job by taking down the Seattle SuperSonics in six games in the NBA Finals.

Chicago boasted short championship NBA betting odds throughout the 1990s, three-peating on two occasions.
