Who Has the Most Steals in NBA History?

John Stockton has the most steals in NBA history with 3,265. He is the only player to have north of 3,000 career swipes.

Stockton averaged a career-high 3.2 steals during the 1988-89 season and recorded a career-best 263 steals, good for fourth all-time in a season.

His knack for coming up with steals would’ve given fans who love to bet on NBA a solid prop bet or parlay option at online sportsbooks.

The 10-time All-Star played 19 seasons in the league, missing just 22 games during that span, with 18 coming during the 1997-98 due to an MCL injury.

The five-time All-Defensive guard helped the Utah Jazz reach the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998, losing to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in six games both years.

Stockton registered a career-high nine steals on Feb. 12, 1991, in a 113-92 Jazz win over the Houston Rockets.
