Could the Knicks finish the job at home, or will the Celtics force a Game 7? Let’s find out.

Knicks vs. Celtics Predictions & Best Bets for Game 6

The Celtics outscored the Knicks 68-43 in the second half, as Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Payton Pritchard all combined for 38 of those points.

White finished with a team-high 34 points, stepping up admirably for Jayson Tatum, who could miss all of next season after rupturing his Achilles in Game 5.

Jalen Brunson had 22 points and six assists for the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns added 19 points and eight rebounds.

Brunson and Towns could be in for better performances in Game 6, but the Knicks will need more from OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges, who put up a combined 15 points on a paltry 5-of-26 shooting.

The Knicks (+600) have the best NBA championship odds among all Eastern Conference teams. I expect their starting unit to get back on track, so I’m backing them to cover the -2.5 spread in Game 6 and punch their ticket to their first Eastern Conference finals since 2000
