The Golden State Warriors have had a lot of success in their franchise history, which includes finishing with the best record in NBA history at 73-9 during the 2015-16 season (making their betting lines a popular choice that year).
A lot of big names have come and gone throughout their franchise history, but none have been more impactful than Stephen Curry.

There’s a legitimate shot Curry could surpass the 4,000 mark in 3-point makes when it’s all said and done.
2. Wilt Chamberlain
Wilt Chamberlain was straight-up unstoppable during his time in the league, as he put up that famous 100-point game in none other than a Philadelphia Warriors jersey.
Chamberlain took the Warriors to the NBA Finals in 1964, but they came up short to the Boston Celtics.
Chamberlain earned an MVP Award and five All-NBA selections as a Warrior.
3. Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant spent just three seasons in The Bay, but he made the most of it, as he led the Warriors to a championship in consecutive seasons, earning Finals MVP honours both times.

KD bought into the heavy ball-movement style of play the Warriors subscribed to, which slightly lowered his scoring averages in the regular season. However, Durant would turn it up a notch in the playoffs, which is a huge reason why the Warriors went 16-1 in the playoffs in his first season there.
4. Rick Barry
Rick Barry led the Warriors to their first championship in 1975, as he took home Finals MVP honours after posting averages of 29.5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3.5 steals during their four-game sweep of the Washington Bullets.
Barry earned six All-NBA selections during his time in The Bay.
5. Paul Arizin
Paul Arizin was named to four All-NBA Teams and led the Philadelphia Warriors to a championship in 1956.
Arizin missed two seasons from 1952 to 1954 due to military service in the Korean War.
He’s in the franchise’s top five in both points and rebounds.
6. Chris Mullin
Chris Mullin averaged at least 25 points per game from 1988-1993, earning four All-NBA Team selections during that period.
Mullin is fifth in points, second in steals and sixth in assists in franchise history.
7. Nate Thurmond
Nate Thurmond is the franchise’s all-time leader in rebounds and sixth in points. Thurmond was named to five All-NBA Defensive Teams throughout his time with the Warriors.
Thurmond was also the fourth player ever to average at least 20 points and 20 rebounds per game.
8. Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson helped make the Warriors even more deadly during their dynasty run with his 3-point shooting and defence.

Thompson earned four championships and two All-NBA selections while playing his role to near perfection next to Curry.
9. Draymond Green
Draymond Green was the glue that kept the Warriors together during their dynasty run, providing excellent playmaking and defence.
Green earned two All-NBA nods, eight All-Defensive team selections, and the 2016-17 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award.
