2. Glen Rice
Glen Rice averaged close to 27 points per game during the 1996-1997 season, shooting 47% from three on over five attempts per game, finishing fifth in the MVP race while leading the Hornets to 54 wins.
Rice has the sixth-most points and eighth-most 3-pointers in franchise history.
3. Alonzo Mourning
Alonzo Mourning was a fierce competitor and powerful force inside, averaging over 21 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks per game during his time with the Hornets.

Larry Johnson was a powerful finisher inside, as he earned All-NBA honours during his second season in the league.
Johnson has the second-most rebounds, fourth-most points, and sixth-most assists in franchise history.
5. Gerald Wallace
Gerald Wallace constantly put his body on the line, providing some much-needed grit while playing on some lean Bobcats teams.
The one-time All-Defensive forward finished third in the Defensive Player of the Year race during the 2009-2010 season.
“Crash” has the second-most steals, third-most points, rebounds, and fourth-most blocks in franchise history.
6. Dell Curry
Dell Curry splashed home deep triples well before his son, Stephen Curry, made it cool.
He earned Sixth Man of the Year honours during the 1993-1994 season.

7. Anthony Mason
Anthony Mason was a rugged post scorer who also provided excellent defence and playmaking.
Mason garnered MVP consideration during the 1996-1997 season and made one All-NBA and All-Defensive Team while in Charlotte.
