- Portland’s Providence Park ranks as my best MLS Stadium in 2025.
- Atlanta United cracks the top three despite playing in a football stadium.
- New York City FC occupies the basement for playing in a baseball stadium.
When I look to make a Major League Soccer bet online, I consider home-field advantage as part of my handicap.
Factors like crowd atmosphere, field dimensions, and weather may not affect the latest soccer odds, but they can significantly affect the result.
Below, I’ll analyze the 30 MLS Stadiums for the 2025 season, ranking them from best to worst in terms of atmosphere, accessibility, and other in-arena elements.

What Are the Best MLS Stadiums?
1. Portland Timbers – Providence Park
Providence Park is the perfect place to watch an MLS match. The Portland Timbers’ home is accessible, has terrific sight lines, and features the best post-goal ritual in the league.
We're gonna let you all finish but…

2. Los Angeles FC – BMO Stadium
The fans at BMO Stadium, which sits next to the historic LA Memorial Coliseum, bring the noise each week.

3. Atlanta United FC – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium may have been built for football, but the modern masterpiece is also a brilliant home for fútbol.
4. St. Louis City SC – Energizer Park
Even dogs love St. Louis City’s home, which features a permanent pet-friendly space called the Purina Club.

5. FC Cincinnati – TQL Stadium
FC Cincinnati has drawn sizable crowds since its USL days and continues to do so at its soccer-specific home that opened in 2021.
6. Seattle Sounders FC – Lumen Field
This stadium holds sound better than most in the country, so it stays loud even at a fraction of its NFL capacity.
7. Minnesota United FC – Allianz Field
Allianz Field lights up like its German counterpart, Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich.
This Saturday #MNUFC opens @allianzfield. $250 million & 19,400 seats. The Beer Hall has 96 taps…and the stadium glows. The #Loons finally have their nest. That's 14 new soccer-specific stadia in @MLS since 2005. 🇺🇸⚽️ pic.twitter.com/RGazQFhF6O

8. Austin FC – Q2 Stadium
Austin FC’s Minister of Culture, Matthew McConaughey, often interacts with the home supporters at the Q2 Stadium.
What a way to kick off our first home match at @Q2Stadium. Our MOC knows how to hype up a crowd.

9. Vancouver Whitecaps FC – BC Place
Vancouver’s BC Place will be one of two Canadian venues to host games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
10. Columbus Crew – Lower.com Field
While I’ll always have a soft spot for the Historic Crew Stadium, this new downtown venue helped save the future of soccer in Columbus.
11. Nashville SC – Geodis Park
Nashville boasts the largest soccer-specific stadium in the U.S. with a capacity of just over 30,000 fans.
12. D.C. United – Audi Field
D.C. United hasn’t given the fans at Audi Field much to cheer about since the club’s move in 2018, but the soccer-specific venue next to Nationals Park is a huge upgrade over RFK Stadium.
13. Orlando City – Inter&Co Stadium
Orlando City’s stadium is one of seven MLS venues that will host the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
14. San Diego FC – Snapdragon Stadium
Snapdragon Stadium is the newest venue to grace Major League Soccer and has featured a lively atmosphere early in San Diego FC’s debut campaign.

15. Charlotte FC – Bank of America Stadium
Charlotte FC’s first home match in March 2022 broke the MLS attendance record (74,479).
16. LA Galaxy – Dignity Health Sports Park
Statues of David Beckham and Landon Donovan, who won back-to-back MLS Cups in 2011 and 2012, stand tall outside the stadium.
17. Real Salt Lake – America First Field
If picturesque views are a priority, the scenic mountain ranges behind America First Field should do the trick.
18. CF Montreal – Saputo Stadium
Sitting in Olympic Park, Saputo Stadium features a stunning view of the Montreal Tower.

19. Philadelphia Union – Subaru Park
The waterfront venue is picturesque on a clear day, but Subaru Park’s location in Chester, Pennsylvania, is closer to Wilmington, Delaware, than Philadelphia.
20. Toronto FC – BMO Field
The largest soccer-specific stadium in MLS holds nearly 31,000 fans.
21. Sporting Kansas City – Children’s Mercy Park
Children’s Mercy Park is one of the smaller stadiums in MLS, but its soccer-specific sight lines are a vast improvement on Arrowhead Stadium.
22. New York Red Bulls – Sports Illustrated Stadium
There isn’t a bad seat in the building, but Harrison, New Jersey, is a tougher sell.
23. Chicago Fire FC – Soldier Field
The Fire are in their third stint at Soldier Field, which explains a lot about the club’s efforts to find a permanent home.
24. Inter Miami CF – Chase Stadium
Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami opened the season with the best MLS odds, so it’s no surprise that the club continues to attract high-profile stars to its inconvenient home north of Fort Lauderdale.

25. San Jose Earthquakes – PayPal Park
PayPal Park is the smallest stadium in MLS, seating just 18,000 fans, and stands directly across the street from Mineta International Airport.
26. FC Dallas – Toyota Stadium
FC Dallas plays its home matches about 30 miles north of the city in Frisco and is even further away from soccer fans in Arlington and Fort Worth.
27. Colorado Rapids – Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
The Rapids are the lone professional sports franchise in the Denver metropolitan area without a downtown stadium, and there isn’t much infrastructure around Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
28. Houston Dynamo FC – Shell Energy Stadium
Houston has one of the league’s best home-field advantages thanks to the blistering heat in the summer at Shell Energy Stadium. That doesn’t help the viewing experience, though.
29. New England Revolution – Gillette Stadium
Gillette Stadium is fine for the NFL’s Patriots, but it’s an hour outside of Boston and reduces its capacity by more than 40,000 for Revs’ games.
30. New York City FC – Yankee Stadium
Playing on a condensed field in a baseball stadium isn’t ideal, but NYCFC will skyrocket up this list when it moves to Etihad Park in 2027.
