A journeyman reliever, Austin Voth, signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in March 2026. He was released within a couple of weeks and re-signed with the Jays in April.

Signing Voth didn’t have much of an impact on the Jays’ baseball betting odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook, but any change to the pitching staff is significant when the Jays are dealing with so many injuries.

Did the Blue Jays Release Austin Voth?

Voth opted to be released after he was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays.

Across six innings for the Jays, Voth posted a 9.00 ERA and an 11.77 FIP. He had been effective in eight appearances for the Buffalo Bisons, posting a 2.90 ERA, but he was unable to replicate that success in the big leagues.

Voth had two separate stints on the big-league roster this year. His first spell ended when Josh Fleming was called up, and he was most recently designated for assignment when Hayden Juenger’s contract was selected from the Bisons.

What is Austin Voth’s Salary?

Voth was on a major-league minimum of $780,000 per year with the Blue Jays.

He does not currently have a guaranteed big-league salary.

Who Does Austin Voth Play For?

Voth signed a minor-league deal with the Minnesota Twins on June 5.

If he makes it to the majors with the Twins, Minnesota will be Voth’s fifth big-league team following stints with the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, and the Blue Jays.
