Ascendant prospects could have a major impact on the Blue Jays odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook in 2026.

The Toronto Blue Jays’ farm system has taken a major step forward over the last 12 months, climbing from 24th to 16th in ESPN’s rankings.

Top Blue Jays Farm Prospects and Most Likely Call-Ups

25. Cutter Coffey, 3B/2B, 21, High-A

A toolsy infielder acquired when Danny Jansen was sent to the Boston Red Sox, Cutter Coffey had a solid year in 2025 and backed that up with an .833 OPS in fall league play.

24. Brandon Valenzuela, C, 25, Triple-A

Brandon Valenzuela is a great defender with a cannon of an arm to control the running game. He’s an ideal backup to Alejandro Kirk if he can replicate the offensive production he showcased in spring training.

23. Javen Coleman, LHP, 24, High-A

A hard-throwing lefty, Javen Coleman could quickly rise through Toronto’s farm system as a reliever. If he maintains the command he had in 2025, he could be in Triple-A before the end of 2026.

22. Brandon Barriera, LHP, 22, Single-A

A first-round pick in 2022, Brandon Barriera has been restricted to a total of six starts since the 2023 season due to a pair of significant injuries. His workload will be carefully managed in 2026.

21. Adam Macko, LHP, 25, Triple-A

Adam Macko’s numbers weren’t great in 2025, but there’s still optimism he can be a solid big-league arm at some point in 2026. The slider-curveball combination should be effective.

20. Tim Piasentin, 3B, 18, Rookie

Tim Piasentin was selected in the fifth round last year. Likely projecting as a right fielder long term, Piasentin has a strong arm and great raw power, but his high ceiling is matched by a low floor as it stands.

19. Edward Duran, C, 21, High-A

Edward Duran was a player to be named later in the trade that sent Jordan Groshans to the Miami Marlins. Since then, Duran has become an excellent defensive catcher with a good eye.

18. Micah Bucknam, RHP, 22, Rookie

Selected in the fourth round in 2025 after turning the Jays down in 2021, Micah Bucknam is an intriguing prospect. A pair of strong breaking pitchers gives Bucknam mid-rotation upside, but he might end up as a multi-inning reliever.

17. Sean Keys, INF, 22, High-A

Jays fans shouldn’t be too disheartened by Sean Keys’ offensive numbers in 2025. The underlying metrics were promising, and the Jays love his easy power.

16. Fernando Perez, RHP, 22, Double-A

Fernando Perez doesn’t have the sharpest stuff, but he’s repeatedly illustrated a great feel for his pitches. He’s well-deserving of 60-grade command.

15. Blaine Bullard, OF, 19, Rookie

The Jays took a chance on Blaine Bullard by handing him the largest bonus to a player in the 12th round. Bullard is a switch-hitter with good bat-to-ball skills, great speed, and solid defensive instincts in centre.

14. Silvano Hechavarria, RHP, 23, High-A

The 2026 season promises to be a big test for Silvano Hechavarria as the Jays increase his workload. The Cuban leans heavily on a high-velocity slider, which gets plenty of whiffs from lefties and righties.

13. Josh Kasevich, SS/3B, 25, Triple-A

Josh Kasevich is on the cusp of the big leagues and could become a regular with the Jays if he can barrel the ball more frequently. While not a flashy defender, he’s good enough to play shortstop, third base, or second base.

12. Victor Arias, OF, 22, Double-A

An excellent outfield defender with exciting power, Victor Arias has been solid at every minor league level. There’s a chance he makes his big-league debut in 2026 if the Jays suffer outfield injuries.

11. Jake Cook, OF, 22, Rookie

Jake Cook is an incredibly raw talent, but he’s got legitimately elite speed and a great arm. He’s got the potential to set base-stealing records in the minor leagues after being selected in the third round last year.

10. Yohendrick Pinango, OF, 23, Triple-A

Yohendrick Pinango lit up Double-A pitching last year before posting more modest numbers at Triple-A. He’s not blessed with great speed, and he doesn’t elevate the ball often enough, but the power is intriguing.

9. RJ Schreck, OF, 25, Triple-A

Since arriving from the Seattle Mariners in the Justin Turner trade, RJ Schreck has gone from strength to strength. He makes great swing decisions and has enough power to be a valuable big-league hitter.

8. Jake Bloss, RHP, 24, Triple-A

Pitching in the majors with the Houston Astros before being sent to Toronto in the Yusei Kikuchi deal, Jake Bloss has a solid five-pitch mix. He had Tommy John surgery in 2025, though, and likely won’t be back on a mound until midway through this season.

7. Juan Sanchez, 3B/SS, 18, Rookie

A first season of Dominican Summer League couldn’t have gone much better for Juan Sanchez. The teenager showed great in-game power, plate discipline, and a relatively low strikeout rate.

6. Gage Stanifer, RHP, 22, Double-A

After being selected in the 19th round in 2022 and struggling in 2023 and 2024, Gage Stanifer had a real breakthrough year in 2025. He was neck and neck with Trey Yesavage for much of last season, and if he can develop his changeup, he will be a good big-league starter.

5. Ricky Tiedemann, LHP, 23, Triple-A

The question with Ricky Tiedemann is health. After missing all of 2025 and most of 2024, Tiedemann again suffered elbow soreness in early 2026. If healthy, he’s one of the best pitching prospects in baseball.

4. Johnny King, LHP, 19, Single-A

An outrageous 105 strikeouts in 61.2 innings ensured Johnny King had a successful first year in the Jays’ system. King’s next target is to improve his changeup to give him a legitimate third pitch.

3. Arjun Nimmala, SS, 20, High-A

Despite a .694 OPS in high-A last year, Arjun Nimmala is the Jays’ third-best prospect. There were good signs with a significant decrease in his chase rate. Time is very much on his side.

2. JoJo Parker, SS, 19, Rookie

Selected eighth overall in the 2025 draft, JoJo Parker has decent power and strong contact-hitting skills. He might not stick at shortstop, but he looks athletic enough to play a solid third base.

1. Trey Yesavage, RHP, 22, MLB

The preseason baseball betting for American League Rookie of the Year, Yesavage shone in the 2025 playoffs for the Jays. When healthy, he will slot into Toronto’s rotation behind Dylan Cease and Kevin Gausman.
