Rogers Centre is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays and the sixth-oldest ballpark in MLB. As a result, renovations are required to keep the stadium up to big-league standards.

While the front office has been spending money to ensure Blue Jays World Series odds in the baseball betting markets at the BetMGM online sportsbook are among the shortest in the American League, hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent on revamping Rogers Centre.

What Are the New Rogers Centre Renovations?

Lower Bowl Rebuild

All of Rogers Centre’s lower bowl was gutted and replaced with new seats, more legroom, and additional cupholders. This was accompanied by a reduction in the foul territory, bringing fans closer to the action.

This is one of the biggest steps in a $400 million renovation of Rogers Centre, which began in 2022.

Rogers Terrace

Rogers Terrace is a new members-only area behind home plate. The space has a view from inside the stadium to the diamond with views of the CN Tower. An outdoor terrace is described as a luxurious way to watch Blue Jays games.

According to reports, Rogers Terrace will feature wood-fired pizza, a sushi bar, cheese and charcuterie, and a dessert bar.

Are the Blue Jays Building a New Stadium?

No, the Blue Jays are not building a new stadium.

The Jays, unlike many other teams, privately funded their renovation of Rogers Centre and have no plans to relocate.
