Being one of the youngest ballplayers in the majors doesn’t guarantee a spot among the MLB betting favourites for Rookie of the Year.

Some players are promoted prematurely by desperate front offices. Others manage to make an immediate impact in the big leagues, despite the lack of experience the oldest MLB players possess.

The list of the youngest MLB players in 2026 includes a mix of top prospects and players with significant experience in the majors.
