- Bernie Williams has the most RBIs in MLB playoff history.
- Carlos Correa has the most postseason RBIs among active players.
- Nine players have over 50 career playoff RBIs.
RBIs might not be the best way to evaluate a hitter’s production during the regular season, but baseball is about scoring runs, and batting them in will always be important. A clutch hit in the playoffs can make a player into a franchise icon.
This list is inevitably skewed toward players from the last few decades due to the increased number of playoff games.

A stalwart on New York Yankees teams, consistently among the favourites in World Series odds, Bernie Williams is the all-time leader in postseason RBIs with 80. With the second-most plate appearances in playoff history, Williams had plenty of RBI opportunities throughout his career.
With baseball odds often fancying the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers for deep playoff runs in the second half of the 2010s and first half of the 2020s, it’s no surprise both teams are healthily represented on this list.
Carlos Correa has the most RBIs of any active player, sitting just ahead of former teammates Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman.

Lance Berkman, the career leader in playoff cWPA, and David Ortiz, the career leader in playoff WPA, both feature. Correa, Berkman, Albert Pujols, and Carlos Beltrán join Ortiz as players in the top 20 in playoff RBIs and the top 10 in WPA.
Each player in the top 10 in postseason total bases is also in the top 20 in career postseason RBIs. Derek Jeter has 79 more total bases than any other hitter, but he trails Williams by 19 RBIs.
Adolis Garcia and David Freese have the most RBIs in a single postseason, with 22 and 21, respectively, but neither player cracks this list.
Corey Seager, though, has the third-most RBIs in a playoff with 20 in 2020, and he’s tied with Reggie Jackson on 48 career playoff RBIs. Seager is one of four players to win two World Series MVP awards.
Seven is the most RBIs a player has recorded in a single MLB postseason game. None of the five players to achieve this feat have made this list.
Pujols’ six for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Texas Rangers in the 2011 World Series is the highest single-game tally for a player on this list.
