Across his epic Blue Jays career, Stieb had nine seasons with over 200 regular-season innings. He led the AL in innings in 1982 and led the majors in innings two years later.
Roy Halladay led the AL in innings on three occasions, including leading the majors in innings in 2003. The 2003 campaign also saw Halladay become the AL Cy Young favourite in baseball odds – he went on to win the award ahead of Esteban Loaiza and Pedro Martinez.
Pat Hentgen led the majors in innings in 1996 and 1997. David Wells led the AL in 1999.
