With Tyler Glasnow pitching in relief in Game 6, Shohei Ohtani is expected to start Game 7 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Toronto is handing the ball to future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer.

Blue Jays vs. Dodgers Predictions & Best Bets
Ohtani, who conceded four earned runs in six innings in Game 4, is due to start for the Dodgers on short rest. Los Angeles started Yoshinobu Yamamoto and had Tyler Glasnow replace Roki Sasaki in the ninth inning in Game 6.
Glasnow might still be available for a relief role, but it’s unlikely he gets the start after coming into Friday’s game. Blake Snell could work out of the bullpen. Dave Roberts has very few, if any, relievers he can trust.
Scherzer has been there and done it in the postseason. This will be his sixth career World Series start, and he was solid in Game 3, going five innings for three earned runs. John Schneider should have Shane Bieber, Eric Lauer, Chris Bassitt, and possibly Trey Yesavage available out of the bullpen.
The pitching matchup clearly favours the Dodgers. That’s been the case throughout this series, however, but home-field advantage isn’t as significant in winner-takes-all games as I expected.
In all of postseason history, home teams have only gone 69-67 in winner-takes-all games. I predict the Dodgers will complete the comeback from 3-2 down beyond another historic Ohtani performance.
