Following a gruelling Ashes tour, England visit Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20s in January and February. There is minimal travel involved, with the three ODIs in Colombo and the three T20s in Pallakelle.

England’s white-ball form has been patchy since Harry Brook replaced Jos Buttler as captain. This tour should be an opportunity to get back on track, given England’s recent dominance over Sri Lanka, having not lost a series to them in any format since 2014-15.

These series come after a prolonged break for Sri Lanka. The hosts won’t have played an international match since Nov. 27.
