West Indies is visiting South Africa for a three-match T20I series from Jan. 27 to Jan. 31. Paarl, Centurion, and Johannesburg will be hosting the matches as both teams ramp up their preparations for the upcoming World T20.
West Indies won all three matches when these teams met in the Caribbean in 2024, but the BetMGM sportsbook heavily favours South Africa in its cricket betting markets for this series.

South Africa vs. West Indies Predictions
I predict South Africa will win the third match of their T20I series against the West Indies on Jan. 30.
South Africa is looking to make it 3-0 after winning the first two matches of the contest, both coming in emphatic fashion. First, South Africa claimed a nine-wicket victory in Paarl, followed by a seven-wicket win with 15 balls to spare in Centurion.
Getting to 225 in less than 18 overs was a spectacular batting performance from the hosts, led by a scintillating century from Quinton de Kock.
West Indies have been unable to stop the flow of runs. Matthew Forde was the only bowler with an economy less than 10 in the second match. Roston Chase’s modicum of control in Paarl was nowhere to be seen in Centurion.
Ryan Rickelton has delivered in both matches, with a 40 not out and a 77 not out to his name. His runs line is set at 23.5. I predict he will cruise past that number with how easily he has played this West Indies bowling attack.
In the bowling department, I predict Keshav Maharaj to be South Africa’s top bowler at +400. He leads the series in bowling impact by a wide margin and has two scalps in each of the two previous matches.
This series has been a complete and utter mismatch. There are ominous signs for the West Indies’ World Cup chances, with a first-round exit looking like a real possibility. The South Africa team, meanwhile, continues to justify its status as my dark horse pick.
