  • Texas quarterback Arch Manning leads the Heisman odds at +600.
  • Behind Manning is LSU signal-caller Garrett Nussmeier at +850.
  • Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (+1000) is third.

The Heisman Trophy college football odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook favour an SEC quarterback who will take on the defending national champions in Week 1 of the season.

Below, I’ll examine the football odds for the top five players.

Prediction: Who Will Win the Heisman Trophy in 2025?

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning (+600) is atop the odds to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy award, followed by:

  • Garrett Nussmeier, LSU (+850)
  • Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State (+1000)
  • Cade Klubnik, Clemson (+1100)
  • Drew Allar, Penn State (+1400)

I predict Manning will win the Heisman Trophy. He’s atop the odds at +600.

Manning showed last season that he can pass and run effectively. He’ll also have a chance to pad his resume in Week 1 on the road against Ohio State.

2025 Heisman Trophy Predictions & Best Bets

Arch Manning to Win Heisman Trophy +600

Manning is +600 to win the Heisman Trophy.

It’s finally his time as the starting quarterback.

He’s losing plenty of talent to the NFL in Kelvin Banks Jr., Jaydon Blue, Matthew Golden, and more.

He’ll have another season of Ryan Wingo, who I expect to progress well as a sophomore.

Manning can send a big message to the college football world with a Week 1 win on the road against Ohio State.

Garrett Nussmeier to Win Heisman Trophy +850

Nussmeier is +850 to win the Heisman Trophy.

He completed 64.2% of his passes for 4,052 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions last season.

He’ll be losing left tackle Will Campbell, but he’s got some intriguing weapons to throw to, including Barion Brown and Nic Anderson.

He’s a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but he’ll need to be far more consistent next season.

Jeremiah Smith to Win the Heisman Trophy +1000

Smith is +1000 to win the Heisman Trophy.

Quarterback Julian Sayin looked great in the spring game, providing more promise for Smith’s 2025-26 season.

Last season, he caught 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns as a true freshman.

He’ll continue to haul in targets with less competition, with Emeka Egbuka off to the NFL.

Cade Klubnik to Win Heisman Trophy +1100

Klubnik is +1100 to win the Heisman Trophy.

Klubnik led the Tigers to an ACC title and the College Football Playoff.

He threw for 3,639 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He did some running, too, racking up 463 yards and seven more scores.

He’ll have T.J. Moore, Bryant Wesco Jr., and Antonio Williams to throw to.

Drew Allar to Win Heisman Trophy +1400

Allar is +1400 to win the Heisman Trophy.

Allar took massive steps forward last season from his first season starting in 2023-24.

He was one game from the national title game, but lost to Notre Dame after throwing an interception late.

He’ll have Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton back at running back.

The team also added Devonta Ross from Troy and Kyron Hudson from USC to play wide receiver.

Allar has all the physical tools. It’s just a matter of whether he can put it all together in this third season as Penn State’s starting signal-caller.
