UTSA Roadrunners All-Time Greatest Football Players
1. Frank Harris
Harris played quarterback for UTSA from 2019 to 2023.
He threw for 11,858 yards (most in program history) and 92 touchdowns (first).
In 2022, he threw for 4,059 yards and 32 touchdowns, which are both single-season UTSA records.
He also ran for 2,143 yards (third) and notched 28 rushing touchdowns (second).
Harris redshirted in 2017 and didn’t play due to injury in 2018.
He was named the Conference USA MVP, first-team All-AAC, and first and second-team All-Conference USA.
2. Sincere McCormick
McCormick was at UTSA from 2019 to 2021.
He ran for 3,929 yards (first) and 34 touchdowns (first).
He holds three of the top four single-season rushing yard records, headlined by 1,479 in 2021.
That same season, he had 15 rushing scores, which is also a single-season Roadrunners record.
McCormick was a third-team All-American, the Conference USA Player of the Year twice, two-time first-team All-Conference USA, and the Conference USA Rookie of the Year.
3. Marcus Davenport
Davenport was rushing the passer for UTSA from 2014 to 2017.
Before going on to the No. 14 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Davenport recorded 22 sacks over four seasons at UTSA, which is a program record.
He was the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year, first and second-team All-Conference USA, and is in the UTSA Sports Hall of Fame.
Other than Davenport, no other UTSA player has even been drafted before the fourth round.
4. Josiah Tauaefa
Tauaefa played linebacker for UTSA from 2016 to 2018 and immediately made his presence felt.
As a freshman, he recorded 115 tackles, which is a single-season record.
That same year, he also had six sacks, which is tied for seventh-most in a single season.
Tauaefa was named first-team All-Conference USA, the Conference USA Freshman of the Year, and was the first UTSA player to be named a Freshman All-American.
5. David Morgan II
Morgan II played tight end for UTSA from 2011 to 2015.
In his final season with UTSA, he caught 45 passes for 566 yards and five touchdowns.
Those five touchdowns are tied for the 10th most in a single season, but are the most among any tight end in program history.
Morgan II was also the first player in UTSA history to earn All-American honours. He was named a second-team All-American and second-team All-Conference USA in 2015.
