1. Jeremy Reaves
Reaves played safety for South Alabama from 2014 to 2017.
While there, he racked up 301 tackles (second in program history) and eight interceptions (third).
He was named the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.
Additionally, he was a first-team All-Sun Belt twice (2016 and 2017) and second-team All-Sun Belt (2015).
2. Jalen Tolbert
Tolbert played at South Alabama from 2017 to 2021.
As a receiver, he caught 178 passes (second) for 3,140 yards (first) and 22 touchdowns (first).
He holds the single-season receiving yards record with 1,474.
Tolbert was the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year (2021) and was first-team All-Sun Belt twice.
3. Carter Bradley
Bradley played quarterback for South Alabama for two seasons (2022 and 2023).
He threw for 5,996 yards (first) and 47 touchdowns (first).
He holds the single-season records in passing yards (3,336) and passing touchdowns (28), which he set in 2022.
He also holds South Alabama records for total yards (6,016) and total touchdowns (50).
He was second-team All-Sun Belt in 2022.
4. La’Damian Webb
Webb played running back for South Alabama in 2022 and 2023.
In two seasons, he ran for 2,069 yards (fourth) and 29 touchdowns (first).
The rushing yards record is 2,670 yards, which took that player, Xavier Johnson, four years to set.
Webb holds single-season records in rushing yards (1,062) and rushing touchdowns (16).
He was first and third-team All-Sun Belt.
5. Ross Metheny
Metheny was the quarterback for South Alabama from 2012 to 2013.
In two seasons, he threw for 4,770 yards (second) and 27 touchdowns (third).
He also finished with 11 rushing touchdowns (tied for seventh), 5,515 total yards (second), and 38 total touchdowns (second).
