1. Brian McClure
McClure played quarterback for Bowling Green from 1982 to 1985.
He threw for 10,280 yards (most in program history) and 63 touchdowns (fourth).
He won the Sammy Baugh Trophy (given to the top collegiate passer), was the MAC Offensive Player of the Year three times, a two-time MAC MVP, was four-time first-team All-MAC, and the MAC Freshman of the Year.
2. Matt Johnson
Johnson threw for 8,845 yards (third) and 73 touchdowns (first) during his time as the program’s quarterback from 2012 to 2015.
He holds single-season records in passing yards and touchdowns, with 4,946 yards and 46 touchdowns in 2015.
That year, he was the MAC MVP and MAC Offensive Player of the Year, won the Sammy Baugh Trophy, and was first-team All-MAC.
3. Freddie Barnes
Barnes was a receiver for Bowling Green. He played from 2006 to 2009.
He caught 297 passes (first) for 3,290 yards (second) and 30 touchdowns (second).
In 2009, he caught 155 passes for 1,770 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Those are all single-season records.
That same season, he was a first-team All-American and first-team All-MAC.
4. Tyler Sheehan
Another signal-caller, Sheehan, was at Bowling Green from 2006 to 2009.

Sheehan holds the program record for most total yards with 10,465 and is second in touchdowns with 84.
5. Omar Jacobs
Yet another quarterback, Jacobs, was at Bowling Green from 2003 to 2005.
He threw for 6,938 yards (sixth), including 4,002 yards in 2004 (third in a single season).
He also had 71 touchdowns (second).
As a runner, he scored seven touchdowns.
Jacobs was first-team All-MAC and the MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2004.
