The Baylor Bears have a lot of returning starters, headlined by quarterback Sawyer Robertson.
Robertson is Brock Purdy-like with a slightly better arm.
Last season, he completed 62.2% of his passes for 3,071 yards, 28 touchdowns, four rushing scores, and eight interceptions.
Other players returning include four offensive linemen, wide receiver Josh Cameron, and more.
As for the transfer portal, they lost defensive tackle Trey Wilson and safety Corey Gordon Jr., but added a few players, including former Alabama receiver Kobe Prentice.
Auburn has a notable transfer of its own in quarterback Jackson Arnold. Last season with Oklahoma, he played 10 games, completing 62.6% of his passes for 1,421 yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He also ran 150 times for 444 yards and three touchdowns.
While Arnold has the upper hand compared to Robertson in the rushing department, I’ll take my chances with Baylor, a team with a lot of returning starters, especially at home and at +1.5 points.
