As of the start of the 2024 CFL season, the average salary per player is $73,200. For reference, Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros is the highest-paid CFL player this season, earning $600,000.

Toronto Argonauts quarterback Chad Kelly signed the largest CFL contract for three years and $1.865 million in September 2023. 

What’s the League Minimum in the CFL?

The minimum salary in the CFL is, as of 2023, $70,000. Per the latest collective bargaining agreement, that number will rise to $75,000 in 2027.
