  • An Edmonton player won five of the first eight Most Outstanding Player Awards.

The CFL’s Most Outstanding Player Award is awarded annually to one of two nominees. The nominees include the Terry Evanshen Trophy winner from the East Division and the Jeff Nicklin Memorial Trophy from the West Division.
